The main road in Forks.[/u] "Evil is a point of view."Adelle's hair whipped behind her as she sped down the road. Her aqua eyes were nearly black with the hunger she'd been denying for nearly a week. How she managed, not even she knew. But after what she had seen, her resolve to feed off humans had wavered greatly. It was not like her to question the immortal gift she had been granted; but the slaughter of innocent was a transgression that not even the d**ned should commit.
Suddenly, just inside the boarders of the town, she pulled her B-King ABS to a halt and sniffed the air. She could smell them, other vampires. She frowned, there was quite a few of them. Perhaps they were the ones she'd heard about, the "vegetarian" vampires. She laughed at herself, for the past week, every vampire she'd come across she'd thought the same thing. Still, she couldn't help herself. She wanted, no needed, to see them, to observe them, to find out if she could really do what they did after so many years of human blood- evil-doers blood, but still human.
She shook her head, clearing the thoughts from her head and started her bike back up again and took off, following the scent of the vampires.

Jasper was the only one home, or at least for now, in fact, Alice was the last to have taken off for today--not that there was any school. Of course, Carlisle would still have work to do, and Esme was normally around. But today everyone was gone doing their own things, Esme with grocery shopping, Carlisle work, Emmett and Rose, Edward and Bella, and Alice as well.
Nevertheless, he knew they would come back in time. For now, he simply relaxed on the couch with...a book? Yes, a book. Well, there was nothing else to do, and the book was something he'd read over and over already. And because of that, he'd remembered every part of it, therefore it was truly useless for him to re-read it over again. He simply became bored and only managed to skim through it if any.
That was when he sensed something different in the air.

"Evil is a point of view."
Adelle began following the scents, though going more on feeling than smell. She drove past a barely visible turnoff, but then circled back around to it, instinct driving her toward it. She drove down the path and eventually came to see a large house. She stopped her bike a few feet from it and took a deep breath. Surely she wasn't nervous, no not her.
But in truth she was a little nervous, if these were normal vampires, they'd surely scoff at her for not feeding in so long. But if they were the ones she was looking for, they may or may not be inclined to help. And that, the not knowing, is what put her a little on edge; not to mention the fact that she was in no condition to fight, if it came down to that.
She shook her head to rid the thoughts and got off her bike and walked up to the house. She confidently knocked on the door.
"God kills indiscriminately and so shall we."

Jasper was at the door by then, having already sensed the presence of another immortal. He could feel the atmosphere tingling with not hate but something else, curious by this, he opened the door to see Adelle standing there.
Just about one thing caught him slightly by surprise, and it was the color of the other being's eyes. Hunger, he could sense that too in the tingling atmosphere. But why would a vampire go so far as to continue without feed? Suddenly he began to feel strange as not all too pleasant memories flooded in his mind from how he was back then.
Snapping out of his thoughts, he stood there and forced a friendly smile, "Hello."

"Evil is a point of view."
Adelle smiled at Jasper; it was friendly, if tight. "Hello," she said, drawing out the last syllable slightly. Her eyes appraised him for a moment. He seemed ever so slightly surprised. By what though? Her hunger, perhaps. Or perhaps he, or they, did not receive many guests of the immortal kind; not surprising. After the short pause in which she took him in she asked, "Are you one of the ones I've heard about? The rumored vegetarian vampires?" Beating around the bush had never won her anything, so she was always very direct.
"God kills indiscriminately and so shall we."

From the sudden question, this caused curiosity within him as he recomposed his expression to a somewhat blank one. "If I say yes, what would likely happen?" he asked. Jasper guessed that this hungry immortal came for the desire of stopping their own lust for blood, but then again, anything could happen.
After all, it is quite true that not many have visited this home--for the exception of a few passing visitors.

"Evil is a point of view."
"If you were," she started slowly, watching his reaction closely. "I'd have some more questions for you." She knew well enough how those vampires were disliked, seen as freaks, so in the event that this one and his coven weren't the ones she was searching for, she did not want to be scorned. She did have her pride, and she would not let it be ruined by some normal vampire who was completely fine with what she had seen. She hoped her fairly open answer would bring him to tell her whether he was or not.

Already realizing that he was on his own for this risky situation, he thought for a moment and wondered what the others would have done. Finally, after much pondering, he gave a more direct answer, "Then yes. I am one of those rumored 'vegetarian'. Albeit not as strong as my comrades."
[OOC: Guh, my apologies for such a short post.]

"Evil is a point of view."
She could tell he was thinking things out and she waited, though she was a bit impatient. She let out a small sigh of relief and her smile widened slightly. She had finally found them, but now the question was whether or they'd help her. "Well, in that case, I'll be straight with you, the way you live interests me. I'd like to know more about why and how you live the way you do." She only hoped she had phrased her request in such a sway as to make it obvious that she was not out to scorn them, but that she truly was intrigued.

Jasper gave a simple smile, a smile that really gave no meaning. "In that case, come on in." he stated, opening the door wider and gesturing inside, "The others have not arrived home yet, therefore I'll have to do for now. I will try my best to answer any questions."

"Evil is a point of view."
"Thank you," she said softly, stepping in to the house. She looked around, mildly interested. "Nice house," she commented, bemused. She twisted the small pentacle pendent that hung around her neck, an old habit. She didn't want to start asking questions immediately, remembering that last time she had done that she nearly shuddered, so she contented herself to looking around, her eyes darting from one thing to the next.
"God kills indiscriminately and so shall we."

Jasper sensed the amusement running through his guest, along with the same cautious feeling that he contained. Realizing this, he began to understand that they were both on the ends of a stranger's meeting. Neither of them knew what or how the other might react. He nodded in acknowledgment to her compliment to the Cullen house and simply stood awaiting. To a normal guest, he might have asked if he or she would like something to drink.
But this was no ordinary guest, so he stayed quiet. Carefully assessing the situation.

"Evil is a point of view."
She turned to him and silently looked at him for a moment longer. "Why did you give up the normal ways?" she blurted out. She did realize that the question might be a bit personal, but so was her quest. If she was going to commit to this way, she needed to know others motivations, to sort of confirm her new feelings about the 'natural ways' of living.

He knew she would eventually get straight to the point, not to mention a personal one. Simply smiling lightly, he glanced out the window silently. "Individually, we probably have several reasons on our own. However, our main reason, I believe, is because we desire a peaceful life with the humans, the species that which we were born as."
Ah, memories. Perhaps for certain people, it is nice to go down memory lane. But for Jasper, he had uncertain feelings as the memories of his past re-opens itself in his mind.

"Evil is a point of view."
Adelle nodded, "Most of our kind seem to forget that we were once just one of them." She crossed her arms and sighed. "Recently, I've seen something that has led me to second guess the normal ways." She shook her head, "The blood of total innocents should never be spilled," she said softly. "I don't think I can drink from another human without remembering what I saw."
