Emmett was walking down a long hallway in th Volturi's castle. He was allowed in because he had agreed to do a small job for Aro. He had to use his power to save his sweet love, Abigail. He has the power to manipulate anyones mind and his purpose was to help Aro play a prank on Marcus.

"Evil is a point of view."
Adelle glided down a hall in the castle, her stiletto boots clinking loudly in the emptiness. She had come here because of her, now former, lover. He was an older vampire, dating back to the 18th century. As such, he'd crossed paths with the Volturi due to his bratty attitude. In the process of leaving him, Adelle decided to see if they'd be so kind as fill her in more on her lover's background.

Alec was slightly bored. The castle was, after all, not very interesting to hang around in. Normally he'd be reading a book around now, but for some reason he wasn't in the mood, so instead he was wandering the halls. His dark red eyes were a clue to anyone who saw him that he'd be rather grumpy. He was hungry. Heidi would be bringing in some tourists this afternoon, though, so he could wait.
The marble corridor was mostly empty, except for the small vampire, but that was perfectly fine. Alec was more like a cat than a dog -- he didn't enjoy being around other vampires much.
Jane happened to notice a female vampire that was not one of the Volturi. She vaguely recognized her... Was her name Adelle? Yes, that was right. She might be amusing... Why was she here? Well, maybe Aro would know... But then again...
The small vampire stepped out from behind a pillar, not to far in front of the new vampire. She resisted the urge to smile a crocodile grin, but instead watched with a supercillious mask as the outsider approached.
"Hello," she said in a flat, apathetic voice.

"Evil is a point of view."
Adelle stopped as soon as the vampire girl stepped out. "Hi," she replied to the girl's greeting. Adelle examined her and her aura silently for a second or so. "You are Jane, right?" she asked, recalling the name from the stories he'd told her. Adelle gave a small, yet wary, smile.

"Yes," replied Jane in her flat, dead voice, "and you are Adelle. Might I ask why you are here?" She did not even raise the pitch of her voice to denote a question. Her expression was surprisingly blank, and looked apathetic. This didn't, of course, mean she wasn't interested. Her face just wasn't an open book, like some people's.
"Either way, I'm sure you want to talk to Aro. He's busy at the moment with something or other, so you will have to wait." The monotone of her voice often made people feel like going to sleep. Not paying attention or dozing off, however, was not pleasent in the slightest. A few seconds of blazing pain always woke someone up quick enough. "Now follow me." She turned around with the air of someone who knew she would be obeyed, and walked toward the waiting area, where Giana was doing whatever receptionists do.
Alec noticed Jane walking down the marble corridor, and crosed over to join her, taking her by the hand. "Hello Jane," he remarked in a tone that made it quite clear that it wasn't a necessary greeting. He glanced at Adelle, then turned away, ignoring her. She was just another random vampire, visiting the coven on some business or another -- not important, most likely. She might be interesting later, if she tried to do something, but most were cautious enough not to, so it didn't really matter.

"Evil is a point of view."
"I'm here to find out more about my.....maker's past," she did not like to say his name because she was still tempted to turn around and go back to him. She sighed lightly and began to follow Jane. Adelle gave a tentative smile toward Alec as he came up to Jane. However she did not like being ignored. A tendency she had picked up from her Bratty partner. "Hi," she said, obviously a little miffed.

Alec ignored her as easily as if she were a fly buzzing outside a window a block away. They arrived at the door to the reception area, and without a word, Alec opened the door and ushered the other two inside. With felt-lined steps, he then pulled Jane away, leaving the other vampiress to discuss scheduling with Gianna. He certainly wasn't going to wait around, and Jane wouldn't either.
Not that they had anything better to do. Well, after they talked to Aro...
About a minute later, Jane returned to the reception area. Knowing Gianna, Adelle was probably not quite sure what to do. Good. Aro wasn't exactly keen on telling yet another vampire all about her past. As he always said, "It's such a waste to dwell on the murky past when you have the future to worry about."
Alec, however, had remained behind. He had something to do for Aro, and Jane didn't feel like thinking any more about it. It wasn't important to her, or else Aro would have talked to her. She was, after all, his favorite.

"Evil is a point of view."
Adelle smiled slightly at Giana as she spoke to her about seeing any of the three. She only had a few questions to ask. Questions that would help her make her decision easier to make. She only hoped that they would justify her decision, not contradict it.
